I'm New Here

Welcome!

Wondering what it’s like to attend church here? We’re glad you asked! We’ve been welcoming people to worship with us in Mystic since we were first organized in 1852 as the Congregational Church of Mystic Bridge. Since then, our name may have gotten a little shorter, but our membership has continued to grow, as well as our ministries in the community and the world.

As a Southeastern Connecticut Congregational Church in the United Church of Christ, we welcome everyone, no matter where they are on life’s journey. We have members from Mystic, Stonington, Groton, Westerly, Waterford, and beyond who are eager to make visitors like you feel at home. Come join us on Sunday!

What to Expect

Every church is a little different. To take the guesswork out of your first visit, we’ve created a list of Frequently Asked Questions (and answers) so that you’ll know what to expect when you visit us for the first time. We can’t wait to show you what makes our church unique.

Families with Children

We are a family-friendly church that caters to parents and children of all ages. We do this in ways both large and small that encourage families to worship together and connect with God. Your family will appreciate our staffed nursery for little ones, special children’s message during worship, and Sunday School to promote spiritual development.

Meet Our Ministry Leaders

We are fortunate to have an exceptionally caring and talented professional staff to lead our worship, ministries, and missions. Working hand-in-hand with our congregation, our dynamic staff helps us shape and uphold the values of our church.
